Questions, answered plainly.
What Solas does today, what is coming next and where you remain in control.
Getting started
Solas uses AI to handle the business admin around self-employed work. It connects enquiries, quotes, bookings, invoices, payments and tax-ready records in one job trail.
Solas costs £25 per month at its founding price. An annual subscription costs £200, equivalent to £16.67 per month, so paying annually saves £100 compared with twelve monthly payments. The founding price is limited to the first 150 paying customers and is retained while the subscription remains continuously active. There is no free trial.
Not yet. Solas is currently available on iPhone only. We will announce Android availability when it is ready.
Your records and tax
Not yet. You can prepare and review your VAT, quarterly and year-end figures in Solas. Direct HMRC submission will be enabled after our recognition and production-access work is complete.
Solas can manage day-to-day bookkeeping and prepare your self-employed records. A qualified accountant may still be appropriate for complex circumstances such as multiple income sources, international income or IR35 questions.
Data and subscription
Solas encrypts data in transit and at rest. You can export your data or delete your account from the app, and important actions remain reviewable before they are completed.
Solas remains available until the end of your current billing period. Before any provisioned business channels are released, Solas will give you options to preserve or transfer them so customers can still reach you.
